understanding of the course content. Specific instructions are provided for

where you can purchase the necessary book for each assignment are provided
on the right. As you read these novels, consider the way the author's informed imagination creates a narrative world that can help you understand the historical setting of the relevant biblical documents. As the due date for each assignment approaches, you may be asked to comment on your reading in class. Due dates are given in the instructions for each assignment and in the tentative course schedule. |
